Slack
Results reach the team where it already talks. Get answers as a message in the channel, send low scores as a direct message, post regular summaries, and draft a survey with a command.
Workflows you can build with it
Each example is a workflow you can set up with an automation service, an AI assistant or your own application.
Read responses as they land
Every submission posts to the channel you choose and shows only the questions you picked. For teams that would rather watch a live survey than wait for the final report.
Send a low score as a direct message
When a score drops below your threshold, the score and the comment go to one named person as a direct message. Built for customer success and support, where a day of delay is the whole problem.
Bundle the stream into one post
A scheduled run pulls yesterday's numbers and posts them once, with later rollups threaded underneath. For high-traffic surveys that would otherwise bury the channel.
Pass the praise back
A high score with a comment gets posted into the channel of the team it is about. For service and product teams that otherwise only ever see the complaints.
Start a survey without leaving the chat
A slash command takes a topic and a few questions and turns them into a draft, then answers in the channel with the link. For teams that want an idea captured before anyone opens the editor.
What the integration transfers
Each point is a separate example in the direction of the arrow. Configure each workflow independently and link the relevant survey for actions on an existing survey.
empirio.ai → Slack
- A channel message per response, showing the questions you picked
- A direct message carrying score and comment when a score falls below your threshold
- A scheduled daily rollup with count, average and the newest verbatims
Slack → empirio.ai
- Slash command in a channel: create a survey draft from what was typed
- An agreed emoji on a message: publish the linked survey
- A button in a Slack workflow: close the linked survey
How to set it up
Invite the sending app into the channel first: without that membership the message never arrives and nobody notices. Sensitive results belong in a private channel, because a verbatim posted in the open is read by everyone who joins later too.
