HubSpot

The integration joins survey answers to your CRM data. Save answers on the contact, open tickets and deals for service and sales, and start surveys from the CRM.

Workflows you can build with it

Each example is a workflow you can set up with an automation service, an AI assistant or your own application.

  • Answers on the contact record

Score and comment are written into the properties you created for them. Sales and service read the feedback in the record instead of asking each other what a customer said.

  • Detractors become tickets

An NPS score of six or lower opens a ticket in the service pipeline and notifies the owner. The verbatim travels with it, so the first reply is not a request to repeat the complaint.

  • Promoters land in a list

Anyone giving a nine or a ten joins the list you use for referrals and review requests. Marketing works with the happy customers instead of leaving them in a chart.

  • Qualified enquiries become deals

Budget, timing and role are asked in the survey, and answers that clear your criteria open a deal in the pipeline you picked. Reps only see the enquiries they can actually work.

  • Ask at the stage change

When a contact reaches the lifecycle stage you picked, the workflow copies a survey prepared for it. Marketing stops rebuilding the same questions for every cohort.

  • A contact from an unknown address

If no record matches the address given, the workflow creates the contact from what the survey collected. Answers from outside your list stop disappearing.

What the integration transfers

Each point is a separate example in the direction of the arrow. Configure each workflow independently and link the relevant survey for actions on an existing survey.

  • Score, verbatim and response date as contact properties
  • A ticket in the chosen ticket pipeline when feedback turns critical
  • A new contact when the answer carries an email address you did not have

  • Contact reaches a defined lifecycle stage: copy a prepared survey
  • Ticket closed in a chosen pipeline: create a survey from what the ticket holds

How to set it up

Matching needs something about the contact collected in the survey, usually an email address; without it the response stays anonymous and reaches no record. Decide before the first run whether values land on the contact or on the deal — changing that later means backfilling every property you have already written.
